Please Note: Due to the disruption of COVID-19, some insurance companies are waving cost-sharing for TeleTherapy services for a limited time. Contact your insurance company to inquire.

If your insurance is not listed above and you are interested in receiving speech-language services, please contact the office to inquire about session rates. Payment (co-pays, co-insurance, and any other therapy session fees) is due in full at the time of services and accepted in the form of all major credit cards.

​Patients may be provided with an invoice for each therapy session with appropriate diagnostic and therapy codes to submit to his/her own insurance provider for reimbursement upon request.

It is the patient’s responsibility to contact his/her insurance provider to inquire about insurance benefits, reimbursements, co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles not only for speech-language assessments/evaluations but also for speech-language therapy.

WHICH STATES DO YOU OFFER SERVICES IN?

Our services are available to residents of CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, OH, TX, & WA.

HOW DOES TELETHERAPY WORK?

All you need is a device (preferably a computer or laptop), but therapy can be conducted via iPad or cellular phone (if needed) and a secure internet connection. The device must have camera and audio capabilities so we are able to hear and see each other while using fun and engaging materials that help to facilitate speech and language development.

WHAT DO WE NEED TO START THERAPY?

First, we have the free consultation to further discuss your needs and concerns. Then, we decide whether a formal evaluation is needed (if there is a current evaluation within a year, we can use that information for our therapy plan). Next, we either conduct the evaluation to develop a therapy plan, or we utilize the current evaluation to develop a therapy plan with parent interview, observations, and informal screening. Once we decide on the therapy plan together, we can start our weekly therapy sessions. 

CAN I SEE HOW IT WORKS BEFORE I MAKE A DECISION?

We offer a free consultation (20-25 minutes) that includes a demonstration of the therapy platform. This allows us to meet you face-to-face and discuss your needs and concerns more via online chat, along with demonstrating how we use the platform for therapy and/or parent coaching sessions. 

HOW LONG IS EACH SESSION AND HOW MANY TIMES PER WEEK?

The duration and frequency of therapy depends on the needs of each child, along with taking into consideration what is important to you and your family. It is usually recommended to have at least 30 minutes of therapy per week consistently to ensure progress and carryover of learned skills. 

HOW DO I PAY FOR THE SERVICES?

We use Stripe to handle our payments. Everything is private and secure and does not show any secure information. 

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

At this time, we accept Medicaid in Colorado and Tricare East in Ohio. The majority of our services are private pay, but some plans may cover out of network services. Many plans also require co-pays and deductibles, so with our affordable rates, the out of pocket expenses may only be a slightly higher (or not at all) investment in your child’s language and communication.
